How to get here

Both theatres are located approximately one mile from Southend town centre and are accessed from either the A13 or A127, following the brown tourist signs as you enter the town.

Parking

The Cliffs Pavilion has an 80-space car park on-site, with an additional 125-space pay & display car park situated one block away. Additional pay & display car parking is located along Western Esplanade immediately below the Cliffs Pavilion at the bottom of the cliffs (approximately 5 minutes walk up the steps).

Street Parking

Some of the residential streets around the Cliffs Pavilion have resident permit parking operating until 9pm. These streets are regularly patrolled by enforcement officers. Please check for the usual signs on lampposts, etc.

Blue Badge Holders

Please be aware that parking regulations in Southend's Pay & Display car parks have recently changed. If your badge is registered in Southend then you are still able to park free-of-charge, but if it is registered elsewhere you are now required to pay for your parking.

By Train

Southend is served by two mainline rail services and the same stations would be used for either theatre:

By Bus

Cliffs Pavilion: A bus stop is located immediately outside the main entrance and is served by Stephensons of Essex who operates the No.17 bus five times in the morning and once in the afternoon Mon-Fri. There are no buses in the evening or at weekends.

By Air

London Southend Airport is located approximately 15 minutes taxi ride away from both venues and has its own railway station on the Liverpool Street - Southend Victoria line

Parking

Pay & Display parking for the Palace Theatre is located on the corner of London Road/Hamlet Court Road and in Ceylon Road, both positioned approximately 10 minutes walk towards the town centre.

Blue Badge Holders

Please be aware that parking regulations in Southend's Pay & Display car parks have recently changed. If your badge is registered in Southend then you are still able to park free-of-charge, but if it is registered elsewhere you are now required to pay for your parking.
