When Is The Box Office Open?
The Cliffs Pavilion and Palace Theatre buildings and box offices are temporarily closed.
How Can I Pay For Tickets?
Payment may be made by
- Credit/Debit Card (Mastercard, Visa, Switch)
- Our own gift vouchers
- Theatre Tokens (not available online)
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the Event is cancelled, abandoned, rescheduled or where there is a material change to the Event - read more about Ticket Cancellations, Exchanges & Refunds
Do You Charge Any Booking Fees?
To enable us to continue investing in the buildings at Southend Theatres all transactions are subject to a per ticket charge, with a £2 additional charge for mailing out the tickets.
Please note that the maximum number of tickets that may be booked online is nine per show.
How to I purchase access/wheelchair tickets?
While our box office is closed you can request access tickets using our online form.
How Long Will You Hold My Tickets Without Payment?
We hold cash/cheque reservations for three working days while you send payment together with an SAE. However, if the performance is within 3 working days of the reservation, payment is required at the time of booking.
Group Bookings of more than 20 seats will be held until three months before the performance.
Why can’t I leave a single seat?
Our online seat map is designed so that you can't leave a single unsold seat on its own. We know it can be frustrating when there aren't many tickets left, but most people prefer not to sit on their own at a show, so if a seat is left on its own it's very unlikely to sell.
Babes in Arms Policy
For family and children’s shows including Christmas pantomime, children under the age of two may be accommodated on parents’ or guardians’ lap and no charge will be made. Children under the age of two will not be permitted into performances that do not fall into these categories.
On selected events we offer ticket protection which allows you to obtain a refund on your tickets should you be unable to attend for a number of reasons - like illness, travel delay, adverse weather conditions and more.
